Mayor Ragsdale Responds to Commission's Probe of Ethics Appointees
Broadcast Date: February 18, 2007

Fireworks are expected Tuesday when Knox County Commission Chairman Scott Moore convenes a special meeting to vote on Mayor Mike Ragsdale's appointees to a county ethics panel.
The fireworks may come from Moore, who's questioned Ragsdale's decision to name his appointees without consulting commissioners.
It's the latest war of words between the commission chairman and the county mayor since the appointments of 12 county officials in January. That meeting, and the process used to appoint the officials, has been described by Ragsdale as "shaking the foundation of public confidence in Knox County."
Chairman Moore appeared on our program recently. Now it's Mayor Ragsdale's turn.
Then joining Gene Patterson for a final word is radio talk show host and head of the Tennessee Conservative Union Lloyd Daugherty.
