The August 7 general election and state primary are just around the corner. This week, Gene Patterson talks to the candidates for Knox County Commission, District 4 Seat B, Republican Ed Shouse and Democrat Steve Drevik.

Knox County Schools have a new leader. Dr. Jim McIntyre has been on the job for just a few weeks. The new superintendent discusses issues surrounding education.

Then, joining Gene for a Final Word are 6 News political analyst George Korda and Craig Griffith, who is with Mercy Health Partners and is a former deputy to Mayor Victor Ashe.
