Ridge, Slope and Hillside Development Task Force; Knox Health Department's Extended Clinic Hours

Lost in our conversation last week with Knox County Commissioner Greg Lambert regarding his censure by commissioners for allegedly "commandeering" a meeting of the Ridge, Slope and Hillside Development Task Force was the work of the task force.

Knox County Commissioner Tony Norman and Carol Evans, who is head of the Legacy Parks Foundation, join host Gene Patterson in this week's first segment to discuss the work of the task force.

Then, Dr. Martha Buchanan, the public health officer for the Knox County Health Department, provides information about the department's extended clinic hours to provide free flu immunizations for Knox Ccounty residents.

The main clinic on Dameron Avenue and the west clinic on Cedar Bluff Will be open until 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, August 11 and 13.

6 News political analyst George Korda and Cortney Piper, from SRW and Associates, return in the final segment for the Final Word.
