Tennessee's Budget Crisis
Broadcast Date: February 8, 2009

Gov. Phil Bredesen's State of the State address is coming up on Monday. That's usually the time that the governor lays out his spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year.
This year is a bit different because neither the governor nor any of us knows exactly how much, if any, stimulus money will be coming our way.
Gene Patterson talked with Gov. Bredesen while he was in Knoxville to address the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership.
Then, State Rep. Harry Brooks (R-Knoxville), the recently-appointed chairman of the House Education Committee, shares his take on the budgeting crisis in Nashville.
For a final word this week, Gene is joined by 6 News political analyst George Korda and the head of the Tennessee Conservative Union, Lloyd Daugherty.
