After more than a year of investigating the Knox County mayor's office, the state attorney general's office made public its findings.

At issue were a series of complaints regarding purchasing card charges, hospitality funds and community grants. In all cases, the attorney general found no reason to move forward with charges.

While not endorsing the behavior of Mayor Ragsdale or his staff, investigators concluded there was no reason to move forward with ouster proceedings.

Mayor Ragsdale spoke with Gene Patterson about the attorney general's investigation and report.

Later, 6 News political ananalyst George Korda and SRW and Associates executive Cortney Piper discuss the results of the investigation.

Then in the Final Word segment, Don Ferguson, Gus Manning and Haywood Harris talk about their annual homage to UT football, the Big Orange Football Warm Up and More. The dates for the two-session course are Tuesday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 11. You can learn more by visiting http://utnoncredit.wordpress.com/2009/06/30/big-orange-football-warmup-m....
