State Budge Woes
Broadcast Date: November 15, 2009

States across the nation are on the brink of financial failure. Tennessee is not one of them, but the state's financial situation isn't exactly rosy.
Gov. Bredesen is calling on all agencies receiving state funds to cut 6 percent from their budgets, plus another three percent as back up if more cuts are needed.
State representatives Bill Dunn (R-16th Dist.) and Harry Tindell (D-13th Dist) discuss the budget and other issues.
In the Final Word segment, a newcomer to the program, Halls Shopper-News columnist Larry van Guilder, joins Gene and 6 News political analyst George Korda.
