The state primary season is winding down. Early voting begins Friday, July 16 for the August 5 election.
In this week's program, the Republican candidates for the District 7 State Senate seat discuss the issues. The winner of the primary will face Democrat Randy Walker, who is unopposed in his race, in November.
The four GOP candidates are Stacey Campfield, Nicholas Ciparro, Steve Hill and Ron Leadbetter. They are hoping to win the seat currently held by Tim Burchett, who is now a candidate for Knox County mayor.
Joining Gene Patterson for a final word are 6 News political analyst George Korda and Jesse Mayshark, the managing editor of Metropulse.
