Gov. Bill Haslam signed into law this week one of his first legislative initiatives, which changes tenure for teachers. He also raised the ire of some citizens when he raised the pay of some of his appointees by 11 percent, even though most state workers received a raise of just 1.6 percent.
6 News Anchor Kristin Farley is filling in this week for Gene Patterson. She talks to Gov. Haslam in the first two segments of this week's program.
