Candidates for Knox County Commission Chair

Knox County Commission Chairman Mike Hammond is stepping down from his leadership post. He will continue to serve as an at-large commissioner, but his decision to no longer serve as chairman opens the door for another leader.

Two county commissioners talk to Gene Patterson this week about their interest in running for the job. They are Brad Anders and Tony Norman.

Mike Hammond did a great job as county commissioner since he won the seat in 2004. I remember that he had won the seat with 86% of votes.I really hope that only a responsible person like Mike Hammond should win this seat.
