Knox County Trustee John Duncan
Broadcast Date: January 8, 2012

Knox County fee offices have come under scrutiny recently because of a program that allows employees to make an additional $3,000 if they take and pass 60 hours of course work on government. It's a program created by the General Assembly and administered by the University of Tennessee.
While all the fee offices to some degree take part, the trustee's office was singled out for criticism after it was reported that some employees received the additional pay without completing the training.
Knox County Trustee John Duncan joins Gene Patterson in the first segment of this week's program to explain what happened and how the discrepancy is being resolved.
Later, the pundits panel take a look at the week's news. They are former deputy to Mayor Victor Ashe Greg Griffith, Cortney Piper of Piper Communications, and Lloyd Daugherty, chairman of the Tennessee Conservative Union.
