Broadcast Date: June 10, 2012

Cities across the nation, including Knoxville, are dealing with the rising cost of providing pensions to police, firemen, and government workers. There is a proposal to amend the city charter, close the present pension plan and create a hybrid plan. Later, Gene is joined by former deputy to the mayor Craig Griffith, Cortney Piper of Piper Communications, and 6 News political analyst George Korda.
